Welcome to our community service (hereinafter referred to as "community"), the site that connects people for networking, communicating, information & data sharing, and maximizes business efficiency. This agreement describes the terms under which you may use the service offered by the community operator (legal responsible for the community service). Upon registration as a member you will have to confirm the agreement by the Terms of Use and the Data Protection Policy.
The community operator has the right to change the Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be communicated in advance by posting modified terms on this website. Your continued use of the community service indicates your acceptance of the modifications.

This community’s intent is to connect you with other people working within your industry and business environment. For this purpose the community operator provides you with an advanced technological platform.
Membership terms
The community membership is for people working in the pharmaceutical & life science health and medical sector and can be obtained by invitation from another member or your community operator or by using the community application process. Invitations for membership can be offered by registered members and/or the community operator. Invitations shall be offered only to persons known to the member.
Members may only register under their real name. Nicknames or pseudonyms are forbidden. No member shall have more than one account. Selling, trading, or otherwise transferring your community account to another party is not allowed. Membership is not available to minors under the age of 18 or to any users suspended or removed from the system by the community operator or from a representative of the system provider peakfactor GmbH for any reason.
For data security related issues please refer to our Privacy Policy that must be accepted upon registration for membership.
Signing up for a service provided by third parties may require agreeing to Terms of Use / services of those third parties.
Termination
The member may terminate his/her membership at any time and for any reason.
The community operator is allowed to suspend memberships for any reason at any time to prevent misuse and violation of the Terms of Use. The community operator is allowed to terminate any membership immediately and without notification in case of a proven breach of the Terms of Use.
In case of membership termination all data entered to the profile will be removed from the system and not be accessible through the communities services within a technically reasonable period, usually within 48 hours. Other content (e.g. documents, notifications, messages) made available by the member to other members is not removed. Back-up copies or archives for technical use may not be changed and may still contain profile data.
Conduct and Obligation of the member
The membership requires behavior that is adequate for a professional environment. All offenses against the below stated policies shall be reported to the community operator by the available messaging functionality.
The member selects a password upon registration. The member is obliged to keep the password discrete . The community operator does not request the user's password at any time or discloses it to any third party .

Rights of the community operator
The community operator reserves the right to remove or alter any content provided by members in the community groups, discussions, forums, events-section, library or other places outside the personnel profile.
The community rights to contact the member on his community account and the registered e-mail is defined in the Privacy Policy of this community.
Warranties and limitation of liability
The community operator does not warrant that a member successfully establishes contacts or achieves his/her goals or requirements connected to the membership. The operator cannot guarantee and is not responsible that its service is secure or error-free. Any material or information obtained through the community is done in the member discretion and the member is solely responsible for any damage arising from such material or information.
The community operator makes no warranty that the quality of any products, services, information or other material purchased or obtained by the member through the community service will meet the members’ expectations.
The community operator is not responsible or liable for:
The member understands and explicitly agrees that the community operator is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages (even if the community operator has been advised the possibility of such damages).
Some of the above limitations might not apply to all members, as some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion for some warranties or a limitation or exclusion of liabilities for incidental or consequential damages. In no event will the community operator’s total cumulative damages exceed Euro 500.
Access and Availability
The member agrees that it is technologically impossible for the community website to be available without interruptions. The community operator aims to constantly provide its service to the extent possible. Maintenance works or events beyond the operators’ sphere of control may result in disturbances or in temporary interruptions of the community services provided. The community operator cannot guarantee that errors in the software are corrected.
Governing Law and international use
The member agrees to comply with all applicable local rules including but not limited to rules regarding online conduct and acceptable content. Specifically, you agree to comply with all applicable laws regarding the transmission of technical data from the country in which you reside.
This Terms of Use including the Privacy Policy and the relationship between the community operator and its users are governed exclusively by the German law.
To guarantee a top level service the operator kindly requests all members to immediately report any violations against the community Terms of Use or other policies.

- Contains any information you have not the right to disclose

- Contains advertising or promotional material not previously authorized by the community operator outside the personal members profile
- Is unsolicited and might be understood as "junk mail", "spam" or "chain letters"
- Contains software viruses, spy programs or other code designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any hard- or software.
- Start any activities within the community that are unlawful, libelous, abusive, obscene, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Stalk or harass anyone.
- Deliberately interfere with or disrupt the community service by an means.
- Disguise your true identity or origin of communication.
- Falsely state your position and qualifications (past or present).
- Deliberately post junk-content in content fields.
- Use the upload function intended for a personal photo for company logos, promotional signs or any other improper displays.
- Display or communicate data or content from the community or its members outside of the community.
Rights of the community operator
